Two dead after fatal Helicopter crash in Muang district, Thailand.

The crash of a helicopter at the Thai Army Aviation Center leaves two mortal victims while undergoing military training. Among the fatalities are Lieutenant Colonel Panpong Banchongplian, a flight instructor, and Cpl Chanakorn Pi.amcharoen, a pilot-in-training. Both bodies were recovered and handed over to their families.

The news was confirmed by the army spokeswoman, Colonel Sirichan Ngathong. She also confirmed that The Royal Thai Army (RTA) has established an investigative panel to clarify the causes of the accident.

Witnesses claimed that the Enstrom 480B Training Helicopter, manufactured by the Enstrom Helicopter Corporation in the United States, appears to have lost control during the landing process moments before crashing to the ground and bursting into flames
The incident occurred around 9:40 am in Nakhon Sawan province, Muang district, right next to a post office in front of the Jiraprawat military camp.

Material costs ascend to approximately 74 million Baht equivalent to more than 2.2 million US dollars.
