Bangkok Mobile Vaccination Unit or BMV will be ready for COVID-19 vaccination service under Pra Rama IIX Bridge, Thonburi side, Bangplad district, during March 21-23, 2022 from 6-10 PM.
The service is available for all ages. Reservation is requested through QueQ Application with 600 bookings per day, divided into 3 rounds: round 1 from 6-7 PM for 200 people, round 2 from 7-8 PM for 200 people, and round 3 from 8-9 PM for 200 people. 400 Walk-ins are also welcomed on a first-come-first-served basis before 9 PM. Moreover, there is a psychological counseling service available for those in need with no charge. Bangkok has joined with the private sector for this BMV project. The buses were installed with necessary medical equipment for the vaccination service such as blood pressure monitors, thermometers, refrigerators for keeping vaccines, first-aid equipment, field beds, defibrillators, etc. The service provides convenience and the reduction of the risk of contracting COVID-19.
The mobile service started in 2021, initially targeting the elderly aged 60 years and over, patients with 7 disease groups, the handicapped, and those who cannot travel easily. Now, it is ready for all ages to ensure the expedite of vaccination.
