As for the results of the application for the election of Members of Bangkok Metropolitan Councils, the 382 candidates were from 50 districts. The youngest candidate is 25 while the oldest is 82.
Candidates can conduct an election campaign with placards and electronic means such as websites, social media, YouTube, applications, email, SMS or other electronic media until 6:00 PM on the day before the election day, May 21, 2022.
As for the election proceedings after the closing of applications, Bangkok Local Election Commission will begin to play a role in overseeing and ensuring that the elections will proceed smoothly according to the Election of Members of Local Assembly or Local Administrators Act, B.E.
