Everyone referred to the durian “Salika,” a native southern durian, as the king of the house. As in previous years, products will be produced in Kapong district, Phang Nga province, from mid-May to July. Prices range between 200 and 300 baht per kilogram.
The Tourism Authority of Thailand (TAT) has directed the media in Phang Nga and Phuket provinces to visit the Baan Khao Lak Beach Resort, which is a well-known resort for civilization and tourism for all. They will also be able to taste the Salika Durian in order to create a special menu of delicious food called “Salika Durian Pizza.” After tasting it, everyone agreed that “King Chang Hoo” was the perfect delicacy. Thin crust, crispy edges, soft dough in the center, and delectably smooth with a full sheet of salika durian sauce. While the chef demonstrates how to make it appear, he places the pizza dough on a tray and brushes it with a special hotel formula durian salika sauce. Then he places the salika durian meat on top, followed by the cheese, and bakes it. We then take it out, cut it up, and serve it to the customers. It is only available for 290 baht per tray.
Mr. Saran Rongruangkul, general manager of Baan Khao Lak Beach Resort, revealed that he enjoys durians and pizza. So I reasoned that if I combined the two, it might be possible. So, based on personal taste, the chef created a sauce for a durian salika pizza. Initially, a friend came to see us. We offered him a taste. Everyone liked them, as it turned out. As a result, we created a special resort menu, which was well received by the customers. It will only be sold during the time when durian salika is available in the market. As a result, it is only available during this time period.
As a result, I’d like to invite anyone who has tried fresh durian salika to try the durian salika pizza. Let’s see how the combination of Italy and Phang Nga turns out.
