Sunday Roast Review – Paddy Reilly’s Irish Pub

Welcome to our roast review series, aimed at serving as a comprehensive resource and guide to the diverse Sunday roast options available across Bangkok. Our approach is impartial; we neither advocate for nor disparage any particular establishment, recognizing that taste is inherently subjective. Instead, our objective is to offer a fundamental assessment of each offering, focusing on essential elements to assist readers in making informed dining decisions.

Intro to Paddy Reilly’s Irish Pub

Nestled in the heart of the city, this Irish-owned and operated pub stands out not only for its live sports broadcasts and enticing happy hours but also for its commendable Sunday roast offerings. Open from 8 AM to 2 AM, the pub serves its hearty roasts from noon until 9pm, on both Sunday and Saturday providing ample opportunity for diners to indulge.

Our Notes on the Roast:

Upon ordering, each roast is accompanied by a vibrant mint jelly and a rich, thick gravy served in its own ladle. The mint jelly is homemade, adding a personal touch that complements the robust flavors of the meal. The gravy, thick and flavorful, enhances the overall experience.

We tried the super size mixed roast as well as the Lamb roast, their top two best sellers.

The Super Sized Mixed Roast & The Lamb Roast

The roast dinner features an assortment of sides:

  • Stuffing served in a neat, round shape
  • Potatoes generously seasoned with spices & Roasted carrots, adding a sweet and earthy note
